Free Nutritious Meals for Pregnant and Nursing Mothers Through Medicaid

Because every mom deserves support.

  • Trauma-focused therapy (EMDR, DBT, CBT)

  • Psychiatry sessions (for diagnosis & treatment planning)

Who Can Join

Our program ensures moms and families receive the nourishment they need with no stress and no hassle.

  • Must be enrolled in a Medicaid Managed Care Plan
  • Spouses and children under 18 may also qualify
  • Available in select counties across New York

Program Duration
Up to 6 months, with possible extension

What We
Provide

Daily Meals
Three nutritious, home-cooked meals per day for each approved household member

Kitchen Essentials
Support with appliances such as refrigerators and microwaves if needed

Cooking Supplies
Basic tools and supplies to help families prepare food comfortably at home

1. Online Submission

Applicants provide basic personal and financial details, proof of financial hardship, and a short statement about their mental health needs.

2. Review & Approval

A confidential committee reviews applications, ensuring fairness and privacy. No names are disclosed outside the review team.

3. Therapist Confirmation

Applicants select a pre-approved therapist or have their provider accept Meorah’s payment terms. Payments go directly to the therapist.
